Alternative USD Pairs

What is the "Alternative USD Pair" feature and how to use it in your Signals Bot?

Updated yesterday

The Alternative USD Pairs feature ensures greater flexibility and accessibility for your trades, allowing you to continue trading seamlessly even when specific pairs are unavailable.

If a signal's original pair is USDT, USDC, or USD, this setting determines which alternative pair is used for your trades instead.

The options available when enabling this feature are based on the supported and available pairs in your account.

How to Use it?

  • When turned 'Off' – The 'Alternative USD Pair' feature is disabled. If a new signal is published with a pair that is either not supported or not available in your account, the trade will be skipped.

  • When turned 'On' – The 'Alternative USD Pair' feature is enabled. If a new signal with a USD type pair is published, the bot will automatically use the chosen alternative pair to open the trade.

    Choosing Alternative Pairs:
➡️ Choose one pair if you only want your bot to trade with that pair.
➡️ Choose multiple pairs if you want the bot to select the pair with the highest available balance in your account, each time.

How Does it Work?

When the signal has an alternative trading pair available, the bot will create a trade with the chosen alternative pair.

For example, if a signal is posted for XRP/USDT and you have set USDC as an alternative pair, the bot will open a trade for XRP/USDC instead, since this symbol has a USDC trading pair. However, if a signal is posted for 1INCH/USDT and there is no USDC alternative pair, the trade will be skipped.

📌 If no alternative pair is available, the trade will be skipped, and you’ll receive the notification: "trade was filtered - The signal symbol doesn't have any valid symbols for the alternative pairs in your configuration (USDC, USDT)"

Who Is This For?

The Alternative Pairs feature is designed for:

  • EEA users impacted by MiCA regulations, which will restrict trading with certain stablecoins like USDT, TUSD, and DAI on Binance starting March 31, 2025. [Read more about it here].

  • Users facing exchange trading regulations that limit access to certain pairs.

  • Anyone holding a different stablecoin than the one provided in the signal who prefers not to convert it into another stablecoin

🔹 Special Note for EEA Users

For EEA users affected by the latest Binance updates, this feature will be automatically enabled when creating or copying a Signals Bot.

Additionally, the Cooldown Between Trades per Symbol will be set to 60 seconds by default to prevent duplicate trades when certain signal channels post the same signal for two pairs one after the other.

These settings can be adjusted in the bot configuration before activation.
