A Cornix subscription provides you access to advanced automated trading features, trading Bots, and portfolio management tools. This guide helps you choose the right payment method, manage plan upgrades or downgrades, and troubleshoot common payment or renewal issues so you can keep your trading operations running without interruption.
Payments & Billing
Supported Payment Methods
You can pay for your Cornix subscription using the following methods:
PayPal: You can use a debit card, credit card, or your PayPal balance. PayPal payments automatically start a recurring subscription that renews at the end of your billing cycle.
Coinpayments (Crypto): You can pay using BTC, LTC, USDT, or USDC. These payments do not renew automatically. You must manually renew your subscription when it expires.
Apple Pay / Google Play: This option appears automatically if you use the Cornix iOS or Android mobile app. These payments might include additional VAT or local taxes. You cannot use promo codes with Apple Pay or Google Play.
Crypto Payment Guidelines
If you choose to pay with cryptocurrency, you must select the correct coin and network during checkout:
BTC: Use the BTC native network.
LTC: Use the LTC native network.
USDT / USDC: Use the ERC20 or TRC20 network.
Coin | Network |
BTC | BTC native |
LTC | LTC native |
USDT | ERC20 / TRC20 |
USDC | ERC20 / TRC20 |
⚠️ Important: You must use the native chains for BTC and LTC. For USDT or USDC, you must use the exact network specified on the invoice. Do not use the BSC or BNB networks, as this will result in lost funds.
Payment Fees
Coinpayments Service Fees: A 5% service fee is added to all crypto subscription invoices.
Additional API Slots: A 10% service fee is added to crypto invoices when purchasing extra API slots.
⚠️ Important: You must include the Network Fee charged by your exchange before you process a crypto transaction. If you do not cover the network fee, the payment will fail and your subscription will not activate.

Upgrades, Downgrades, and Renewals
Upgrading Your Subscription
When you upgrade your plan, you only pay the difference in price for the remaining time on your current subscription.
Upgrade on Web Dashboard
Navigate to the Billing tab in your Cornix Web Dashboard.
Click the Upgrade button next to your current plan on the top of the page.
Select the Duration and Subscription Tier for the upgrade.
Select your payment method and complete the checkout process.
⚠️ Important: The minimum charge for any upgrade is $10. This applies even if you only have a few hours left on your current subscription. If you want to avoid this $10 minimum, wait for your current subscription to expire before you purchase a new plan.
💡 Note 1: If you use PayPal auto-renewal, you would first need to cancel the auto-renewal before being able to select the upgrade.
💡 Note 2: If you use PayPal auto-renewal, your next regular billing cycle will automatically charge the full price of your new, upgraded plan.
Downgrading Your Subscription
You can downgrade your plan at any time. When you choose to downgrade, you will pay for the next renewal cycle, and the new downgraded plan takes effect immediately after you process the payment.
⚠️ Important: Cornix does not provide refunds for the remaining time on your current higher-tier subscription. We highly recommend waiting until your current plan is close to expiring before you process a downgrade.
⚠️ Important:The system will not allow you to downgrade if your current account usage exceeds the limits of the new lower-tier plan. You must manually reduce your usage before downgrading.
How to prepare for a downgrade:
Navigate to the Billing section in your Cornix dashboard to check your current usage. Here, you will see your current limits for features such as Active Manual Trades, Active Signals Bots, Active Grid Bots, Active DCA Bots, Active TradingView Bots, Monthly Backtesting Runs, and Primary API Slots.
Compare your current usage to the limits of the lower-tier plan you want to purchase. The new plan's limits are explicitly displayed when you select a plan to downgrade to.
Pause, stop, or close active Bots, trades and Exchange connections until your total usage is below the new plan's quota.
Navigate back to the Subscription tab and complete the downgrade payment.
💡 Note: If you attempt to downgrade while exceeding the new plan's limits, the system will automatically display a warning message telling you exactly which limit is not being met.
Subscription Expiration
Once a subscription expires:
All existing trades will remain open in the exchange
The account will be deactivated
💡 Note: for old Cornix users, the subscription will be automatically switched to the Free Subscription Plan.
PayPal Grace Period
If your subscription expires because a PayPal auto-renewal fails, your account enters a 3-day (72-hour) grace period. During this grace period, your subscription stays fully active while PayPal attempts to process the payment again.
How to resolve this: Check your PayPal account to ensure your payment methods are updated and valid. If the payment does not clear within 1-2 days, contact PayPal support directly.
⚠️ Important: Cornix does not have access to your PayPal account and cannot see why a payment failed. Do not cancel your Cornix subscription during the grace period; please update your payment method in PayPal instead. If the payment fails after the grace period ends, your subscription will be deactivated.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Can I upgrade to a paid plan during my free trial? A: Yes! You can upgrade to a paid subscription at any point during your 14-day free trial. Your payment method will be charged immediately upon purchase, but this will not shorten your trial. You will still receive your full 14 free days, and your 30-day (or 1-year) paid billing cycle (along with your monthly limits, like backtesting quotas) will only officially begin after the free trial period ends.
Q: What happens after my free trial ends? A: New users receive a 14 days of free trial with the Premium plan. If you do not purchase a subscription before the trial ends, your account will become inactive. Cornix will continue to manage your active trades for an additional 48 hours. After 48 hours, those trades will close within Cornix, but they will remain open on your exchange.
Q: Why does my crypto payment say “Amount Remaining: 0” but it is not completed? A: This happens when the exchange network fees were not fully covered during the transfer. To resolve this:
Check your exchange transaction details to see the missing fee amount.
If the missing fee is still visible on the CoinPayments invoice, send the exact remaining amount to the same address.
If you cannot send the remaining amount, create a new invoice, pay the full amount (including all network fees), and request a refund for the initial failed payment through CoinPayments.
💡 Note: If the missing amount is $0.50 or less, please contact Cornix Support for manual assistance.
Q: Where can I find promo codes and discounts? A: You can find promo codes in official Cornix promotions announced in the app, on the website, or via Telegram. You can also ask the admins of your Telegram signal channel if they participate in the Cornix affiliate program. Cornix currently offers a 33% discount if you purchase an annual billing plan.
Q: How do I get an invoice for my payment? A: You can request an invoice directly from the Cornix support team.
Open a chat with support via the website widget or the Telegram support Bot.
Provide the email address used for the payment and the payment date or transaction ID.
The support team will generate and send the invoice to you.
Q: How do I pay for additional API slots?
A: Advanced and Premium subscriptions include a limited number of Primary API Slots. You can purchase additional slots for $200 per slot, per year. These payments are manual and do not renew automatically.
Q: Does my Signal Channel subscription cover my Cornix subscription?
A: No. Cornix is a completely separate service from your Telegram signal channels. You must purchase a Cornix subscription separately. Your Cornix fees do not cover signal channel fees, and signal channel fees do not cover Cornix.
Q: Can I pay directly through the Cornix mobile app?
A: Yes, you can pay in the App by going to the Menu and then to the Billing section. However, iOS users may see an Apple Pay option automatically when logged in and Android users may see a Google Pay option.
Q: Do I need to link a credit card to use PayPal?
A: Yes. Because a Cornix subscription creates a recurring payment contract, you must have a valid credit or debit card linked to your PayPal account, even if you plan to pay using your PayPal cash balance.
Q: Why was I charged $10 for a short upgrade?
A: Cornix has a strict $10 minimum upgrade charge. This fee applies regardless of how much time is left on your current subscription.
Q: Why won't the system let me downgrade my subscription?
A: The system blocks downgrades if your current account usage is higher than the limits of the plan you are trying to switch to. You can monitor your current usage in the Billing section of your dashboard, which tracks your active trades, active Bots (Signals, Grid, DCA, TradingView), backtesting runs, and API slots.
If you try to downgrade while over the limit, the system will display a warning showing you exactly which quota is preventing the action. For example, if you currently have 6 active Bots but want to downgrade to a plan that only allows 4, the downgrade will be blocked. To resolve this, you must manually stop or delete active Bots and trades until your usage falls below the limits of the new downgraded plan. Once your usage is under the new limit, you can successfully process the downgrade.
