Everything you need to know about Cornix subscriptions payments, fees, upgrades, downgrades, auto-renewals and more

Supported Payment Methods

You can process your subscription payment using:

PayPal:

  • Debit/Credit card or PayPal balance should be supported, depending on your PayPal account, and not managed by Cornix.

  • Any subscription payment made via PayPal starts as a recurring payment that is renewed automatically

Coinpayments:

  • Accepted coins: BTC, LTC, USDT, or USDC.

  • These payments are not automated and will have to be renewed manually each time.

Apple Pay / Google Play:

  • Available automatically when using iOS / Android

  • This payment method may be subject to additional VAT or other fees, depending on the country.

  • Promo codes will not work with this payment method

Make sure to choose the correct coin and network when paying with crypto:

⚠️ BTC and LTC must use their native chain.
⚠️ For USDT/USDC, use the exact network specified when generating the invoice. Do not use BSC/BNB.

Coinpayments Service Fees

Note that Coinpayments charges 5% fee, and it's added to all crypto payment invoices.

⚠️ Always make sure to include the Network Fee that is shown on the exchange after choosing the network and before processing the transaction! Without the network fees, the payment will not be completed.

Upgrades, Downgrades & Renewals

Upgrading a Subscription

When upgrading your current subscription plan, you'll only be charged for the difference between your current and new plan, and only for the remaining subscription time.

⚠️ The minimum charge for any payment is $10, even if only a few hours remain. If you want to avoid that, let your subscription end before you upgrade.

⚠️ If you have an active PayPal auto-renewal, the next billing cycle will reflect the upgraded plan's price.

Downgrading a Subscription

Downgrading your plan is available for you at any time. When choosing to downgrade, you'll pay for the next renewal of the subscription, and the downgrade will apply from the moment you process the payment.
Open trades and bots that exceed the new plan’s limits will remain active, but no new trades or bots can be created until the usage is back within the new plan's limits.

⚠️ There's no refund for the remaining time of your subscription, so make sure to only downgrade at the right time, and not if you have a long time left on your current sub.

Subscription Expiration

Once a subscription expires:

  • All existing trades will remain open

  • The account will be deactivated
    *Note: for old Cornix users, the subscription will be automatically switched to the Free Subscription Plan.

'PayPal Grace' Status

If your subscription expired and your PayPal auto-renewal didn't go through, your account will enter a grace period of 3 days (72 hours).

During the grace period, your subscription remains fully active, waiting for the payment to be processed and completed.

How to resolve this?

  • If everything on your PayPal account is ok, and your payment method is valid and updated, the payment might be complete within a few hours or even 1-2 days.
    Check your PayPal account and payment methods to confirm this.
    If the payment is not processed within these timeframes, contact PayPal support.

  • In other cases, it might indicate that your PayPal's payment method (such as credit card details etc) is no longer valid, and requires an update.

    Go to your PayPal account and update or add a new payment method, then give it some time to process the payment. Contact PayPal support for more help.

⚠️ The payments are only managed by PayPal, Cornix does not have access to your PayPal account or to the reason the payments fail to process.

⚠️ If you see this status, don’t cancel your subscription yet. Instead, contact PayPal support for further assistance.

⚠️ If after checking and updating, the payment still doesn’t go through, your subscription will end.

Troubleshooting Crypto Payments

Payment Marked “Amount Remaining: 0” But Not Completed

This usually means network fees weren’t fully covered.

To resolve this:

  • Check if the missing fee is still visible on your transaction

  • If yes, send the remaining amount

  • Otherwise, make a new payment including all fees, and request a refund for the failed one via CoinPayments

💡 If the missing amount is $0.50 or less, contact Cornix Support for further help.

Promo Codes & Discounts

Promo codes can be found on:

  1. Signal channel - Contact the admins of your channel to check if they are part of the Cornix affiliate program.

  2. Official Cornix promotions (announced on the app, website, or Telegram)

Currently, Cornix offers a 33% discount for annual plans.

Invoices & Tax Info

Invoices can be provided by the Cornix support team.

To request your invoice:

  1. Contact support via the online chat or Telegram support bot

  2. Provide the email used for the payment, and the payment date or ID

  3. Cornix Support Team will open a ticket, and we'll send you back the invoice

FAQs

What Happens After Free Trial Ends?

New users receive 14 days of free trial with the Premium plan. After the trial period, if no payment is made, the account will become inactive.

Cornix will keep managing your trades for an additional 48 hours. After that, the trades will get closed in Cornix and will remain open on the exchange.
For old Cornix users who still have access to the free plan, your trades will continue to be managed, and your bots and accounts will remain active. You'll not be able to create any additional trades and bots that exceed the free plan usage limitations.

Additional API Slots Payments

Each subscription includes a limited number of Primary API Slots.
If more slots are needed, you can upgrade your plan to the "Asset Manager" or "Community Manager" plan and purchase additional slots on your Cornix account.

Signal Channel Subscription vs. Cornix Subscription

Cornix is a separate service from the signal channels, and a subscription should be purchased separately. Cornix services are not part of the channel's subscription fees, and vise versa.

Can I Pay via The Mobile App?

You can pay through the Mobile App using Apple Pay or Google Pay payment methods. If you want to pay for the Cornix plan with crypto or PayPal, use Web Dashboard Billing section via browser.

Do I Need a Credit Card For PayPal?

Yes, a card must be linked to your Cornix subscription payment, even if the charge eventually uses your PayPal balance. This is because the Cornix subscription payment is a PayPal recurring contract by default.

Why Am I Charged $10 For a Short Upgrade?

$10 is the minimum upgrade charge, regardless of the time left on your subscription.
