How to Export Your Signals Data

This article will guide you through the process of exporting your raw signals data as a CSV file for external analysis, including a breakdown of the exported fields and calculation rules.

Written by Nikita Shirokov

The Signals Export feature allows channel Admins to download raw signal data as a .CSV file from either the Cornix Web Dashboard or the Mobile App. This feature is gives you access to your Open Signals or Closed Signals data so you can perform external analysis and historical reporting outside of the Cornix platform.

How to Export Data from the Web Dashboard

Follow these steps to export your signals data using the web interface:

  1. Log in to the Cornix Web Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the top left corner of the screen and switch your workspace to the Admin Interface.

  3. Click on the Signals tab in the main navigation menu.

  4. Select the specific channel you want to export data for from the channel list.

  5. Choose whether you want to export Open signals or Closed signals by selecting the corresponding tab.

  6. Click the Export button.

  7. Wait for the system to process the request. The .CSV file containing your raw signal data will automatically begin downloading to your computer.

CSV Export Calculation Rules

When generating historical reporting in CSV exports, Cornix uses specific rules to calculate the data. Cornix will always select the exchange with the highest number of hits (entries + take-profits) for the report.

When calculating the historical percentage change for the CSV report, the system uses the following criteria:

  • We use the channel’s strategy (including entry/TP ratios, entry strategy, etc.).

  • We use the leverage from the original signal.

💡 Note for CSV Reports: If the historical signal did not include a leverage value, the CSV export automatically applies 1x leverage to calculate the theoretical percentage change.

What the Exported File Contains

The downloaded .CSV table includes comprehensive data points for your analysis. Here is what each field represents:

  • Date: The exact time the signal was opened (in UTC time).

  • Channel Name: The name of the channel where the signal was posted.

  • Creator: The username of the person who posted the signal (if this setting is enabled).

  • Exchanges: The exchange the signal was posted for.

  • Symbol: The trading pair name (e.g., BTC/USDT).

  • Status: The state of the signal at the exact moment of export.

  • Leverage: The leverage used for the signal.

  • Direction: The trading direction of the signal (Long or Short).

  • Last Target: The number of the last achieved target.

Frequently Asked Questions & Troubleshooting

Why are the times in my exported file different from my Cornix dashboard? The exported .CSV file always uses the UTC timezone by default. However, the Cornix platform displays times according to your local timezone settings.

Why is my downloaded file ignoring the filters I set on the page? Filters applied on the Signals page only change what is displayed visually on your screen. They do not apply to the export feature. When you click Export, all data for that category (Open or Closed) will be exported regardless of active page filters.

Why is my export taking so long to download? If your channel has a very large number of signals, the system requires more time to compile and generate the .CSV file. Please be patient and do not refresh the page while the file is generating.

Can I export my trades data instead of signals data? Yes. To export your personal trade history, please refer to the How to Export Your Trades Data article.
