The Demo Account is a fully simulated trading environment mirroring our real platform, with real-time market data and all functional features. It lets you explore trading without risking real money, whether you’re a beginner learning the ropes or an experienced trader testing new strategies.

No Real Money Needed

You don’t need to deposit real funds or connect your exchange account to trade in the demo environment. Everything is simulated for a risk-free experience.

Seamless Transition Between Demo and Real Environments

A simple toggle lets you switch between demo and real environments, so you can practice and trade in real-time whenever you’re ready.

The toggle is available on any section of the web application:

Switch to Demo Mode

Click the Demo Trading toggle to enter demo mode. A 'Demo Trading' banner will appear at the top of any screen as a visual indicator.

Create a Demo Exchange Account

No exchange connection is needed - click the desired exchange, as if creating a regular account. A demo account will be created with $100,000 virtual balance. Each additional demo account adds another $100,000 to your portfolio.

When creating a demo account, you can easily switch to a real trading environment and open a live trading account with just one click.

Demo Trading Bots

All trading bots, including Signals, DCA, Grid, and TradingView, are available in the demo account. This lets you experience real trading features before using them live. After creating a bot, you can copy it to the real trading environment with one click.

You can also copy a live trading bot from the real environment into the demo environment in the same way.

When creating a demo TradingView Bot and connecting it to your TradingView alerts, follow the steps in this article. However, use the demo Webhook URL instead of the real environment URL: https://dashboard.cornix.io/tradingview-demo/

Demo Backtesting

While on Demo mode, you can create demo Backtesting runs to test strategies across different exchanges and signal groups.

There's no difference between live trading backtesting and demo trading backtesting.

Notes:

  • Demo Backtesting runs count for the total backtesting plan usage.

  • Exchange fees are included in the Demo Backtesting PnL calculations.

  • Exchange fees on Inverse exchanges: only Bitget Inverse will be calculated with fees. Other Inverse exchanges will not include fees in the PnL calculation.

Demo Marketplace

The marketplace functions like the real trading environment, offering the same experience. Whether you're using the demo or live version, all tools, features, and settings in the Marketplace are fully operational, providing a realistic and consistent trading experience across both environments.

If you subscribe to a free channel or start a channel's free trial through the demo Marketplace, your channel's subscription will apply to both the demo and live trading environments, with the trial period starting from the moment of subscription.

My Groups

Under your Demo Trading "My Groups" page, you will see the real groups you are part of.

Switch Back to Real Trading

When ready to trade with real funds, switch the toggle back to the live environment. The Demo Trading banner will disappear, and you can continue trading with your live account.

📝 Additional notes:

  • The "One Click Follow" button is not available for demo trading, only for live trading. In order to follow signal channels with your demo accounts, use the fully automated demo signals bots.
