To automate your trading, Cornix requires access to your cryptocurrency exchange account through an API connection. In Cornix, this secure connection is referred to as an "account" or a "client". The goal of this guide is to help you successfully link your exchange so you can begin using a Bot to trade on your behalf.

πŸ’‘ Note: This guide assumes you understand basic concepts like clients and API keys. If you need a refresher, please review our Help Center guides on what an account (client) is and what an API Key. is before proceeding.

How to Create an Account Through the Legacy Telegram Bot (Old GUI)

⚠️ Important: The Menu Telegram Bot interface is an older system and is strictly available only for legacy Cornix users. We highly recommend using the modern Telegram Mini App, Web Dashboard, or Mobile App for a better experience. If you continue using the legacy bot, you will miss out on new features and streamlined user interfaces.

  1. If you are a legacy user and must create an account using the older text-chat interface, please visit the following link.

⚠️ Important: If your account is managed by a third-party Asset Manager via a Secure Invite, you cannot manually create or recreate an exchange connection. If you deleted your connection, you must ask your Asset Manager to send you a new invitation link.

Common Questions and Troubleshooting

Why do I not see the + Create button on my dashboard? If your account is managed by a third-party Asset Manager via a Secure Invite, you do not have the necessary permissions to manually create exchange connections. You must contact your Asset Manager and request a new Secure Invite link.

Should I use Quick Connect or manual API keys? Always use Quick Connect when it is available for your exchange. Quick Connect is faster, highly secure, and automatically configures IP restrictions to protect your funds.

Why did my manual API connection fail? If you chose the "Connect with API Keys" method, ensure you have enabled the correct permissions on your exchange before clicking the Connect button in Cornix. For example, if you want to trade Futures, you must explicitly check the "Enable Futures" box in your exchange's API settings.

Now your accounts are ready to start trading
